Earlier today, we released our R. F. Meyer & Associates’ November 2023 e-newsletter. If you did not receive it by email, please find a link below to open it as a PDF from our website.

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving later this month, this month’s articles look ahead to government program benefit changes coming in 2024.

As usual, we present three news articles in this edition. For November 2023, they cover:

  • SNAP benefits are available to low-income seniors struggling to stock their refrigerators on a fixed income. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program exists to help people make ends meet.
  • Medicare Part B premiums and deductibles headed back up. After a one-year drop, Part B costs and deductibles are heading back up in 2024.
  • Social Security COLA: Next year’s annual cost-of-living adjustment to Social Security benefits will be 3.2 percent. That’s a healthy increase, but hardly the 8.7 percent recipients saw in 2023. Recipients can expect a letter from the Social Security Administration in December detailing their individual 2024 benefit changes.

I hope you find our November 2023 articles interesting and informative. The Law Offices of R. F. Meyer & Associates wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving on Nov. 23.
