Dear Clients and Referral Partners,

A little earlier today, we sent out R. F. Meyer & Associates’ February 2024 e-newsletter. If you did not receive it by email, please see the link below to find it in PDF version on our website.

The newsletter again presents three articles this month, and they cover topics we hope many of you will find interesting. The February 2024 articles cover:

  • 2024 changes to Medicare: Though prices are up, you may be interested to hear of five positive changes to Medicare which recipients will enjoy, included expanded mental health coverage and additional help with Part D prescription medicine costs.
  • Worker survey on Social Security filing: Americans need to work until their full retirement age to get maximum benefits. A recent survey shows most workers know this, but plan to file early to start receiving their Social Security, anyway.
  • Possible new help for caregivers: Recently proposed legislation seeks to offer financial relief for unpaid family caregivers. The Lowering Costs for Caregivers Act of 2023 is the result of a bipartisan effort to lessen the costs of family caregiving.

Should you need more information on any of these topics, or help with any Elder Law, Estate Planning or Probate Law issue, please contact R. F. Meyer & Associates to speak with our experienced staff. Call our Worthington offices at 614-407-7900, reach us by sending email to mailto:[email protected], or simply fill out the contact form on our website, at elderlaw.us/contact.

Have a great month, and look for our next newsletter in March.

Sincerely,

Richard F. Meyer
