Browning & Meyer Co. LPA is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the 2016 Columbus Buddy Walk.

The 15th annual Columbus Buddy Walk will step off at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 at MAPFRE Stadium, home to the Columbus Crew.

The Columbus Buddy Walk event is staged by the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO).

DSACO set a goal of raising $400,000 from the 2016 Walk and is approaching that target with just a little less than six days to go. As of this morning, Sept. 26, DSACO reported it has raised $350,420 through this year’s walk.

Browning & Meyer’s sponsorship will fund Starbucks coffee at tailgate parties Sunday for the top five fundraising teams participating in the Buddy Walk.

The walk will take place rain or shine. More than 6,000 walkers are expected. Individuals with Down syndrome are invited to walk for free, though they must still register through the event website, http://www.ds-stride.org/columbusbuddywalk.
